The loads of jeans, towels, blankets, or sheets were ALWAYS off balance in our previous top-load washing machine. Yes, it was loaded properly. This washer is balanced and the laundry is clean! LOVE IT! The only negative is the fabric softener dispenser doesn't empty completely. That's okay. I switched to sheets. The machine actually FILLS with water.

This washer has been doing a great job at washing clothes. I would of given it a 5 Stars, but the Washer failed to work with a fully functioning GFCI Outlet. The outlet was tested with a portable bandsaw and worked well. Talking to the factory, the unit should work with a GFCI.

So far I like it. However, the installation instructions say to vent the dryer with a hard PVC pipe and the installers used the cheap, flimsy foil one. When I called them they said it was fine. For what I paid for these I think they should have followed the installation instructions. Would not buy another one due to this.

Our Whirlpool washer died in September and it was only 28 months old. The repair estimate was $1053 and since we were 4 months past the warranty we would have had to pay for repairs out of pocket. When my Electrolux front loader set of 7 years went out I decided enough is enough with replacing washers and dryers with the amount of laundry we do. I also was tired of the front loader washer. My only two complaints are; 1- this washer doesn't get my sons muddy football uniforms clean the first time through like my old washer unless I pre-scrub the you know what out of them (even with soak, pre-wash and extra rinse) and mind you I was his uniform as soon as he gets home. 2-this washer also doesn't get the dirt out of my family's white socks like my old washer, even on highest soil level, soak, pre-wash and extra rinse. My other whites come out looking great. I haven't had this washer a whole billing cycle for PG&E or our water bill, but I think I will be paying more as the cycle times seem to be longer then my old unit and I have a feeling they use a little more water and energy even on the autofill cycles. But this was my choice, I was tired of spending thousands of dollars every 5-7 years to replace my units, I needed something reliable, durable and with longevity.

Not what I was hoping for.

I have had my TR7. now for about 2 months. It cleans clothes pretty good. The two complaints I don't like are that the lid locks and the water will stop flowing and I can't rinse the soap residue out from the cap. The other thing I don't like is there really is no good cycle for Normal everyday wear like t shirts. They say not to use the Normal eco cycle because it just sprinkles water. So what cycle do I use? I do like the fact that the machine has many options. It can hold a king size blanket and wash it with no problem. One thing I did notice is that clothes don't come out as dry as they should after a wash. They are wetter than usual after a wash. At least it has a 7 year warranty.

problems from the very beginning

While filling the machine stops and flashes "Er 66". Manual doesn't tell you what error code 66 means. To get it to run, you have to pull the plug and reset it. Then maybe the next time it will fill all the way. Sometimes it takes 4 un-plugs to get it to fill. At first this only happened occasionally, so we put up with it. Finally it got to be too much. Called warranty service. They came out and looked at it, and had to wait until it produced the same error, even though it was still an intermittent problem - apparently my word wasn't good enough. Oh, did I mention the lid lock broke as well?

Really like the Speed Queen TR7003WN washer. We have had to replace too many top-rated washers too soon. So, we did a lot of research and, so far, are happy with the Speed Queen Washer. It was purchased about 2 months ago. It is an appliance built to last. It washes and rinses throughly, using only detergent. Follow the instructions and the clothes will come out clean and smell fresh. The washer is balanced and does not budge - no more moving across the floor. The selection panel is easy to use and has a nice set of choices. The Special cycles, ability to set Favorite cycles, and Auto-Fill are great features. We think we bought the right washer this time.

A washer that lives up to it's promises! Smarter than the competition, this washer has an "auto-fill" setting that actually adds enough water to complete the cycle without damage to the clothes. Clothes are truly clean and they rinse thoroughly clean too-no more soap residue-no more back-wash. I don't use fabric softener anymore-don't need to with this washer. The controls are easy to use, easy to understand, logical! Quiet running unit, no more "off balance" problems. Cycles complete very quickly. Having an agitator I thought would create a problem for washing coats, but coats wash up very nicely in this machine; just place two in at a time for balance and don't overload the machine. I placed one large coat and one smaller jacket in a load and it worked perfectly. The simple design of the agitator is so gentle on clothes and still very efficient. Makes doing laundry fun.
