Happy with the dishwasher as far as being quiet. The top rack has the drawer for knives etc which means that you cannot have cups that are too high or hits it. I wish to stainless steel was smudge proof.

This is truly the best dishwasher I've ever had. You do get what you pay for! After going through about 3 of them in the last 6 years I was totally frustrated. This Bosch dishwasher is super quiet and more importantly actually gets your dishes really clean. The specific cycles really help between just dishes or pots. The wheels on the racks are super smooth and the top rack adjusts so it won't get items stuck. I know this one will last a very long time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We bought the Bosch with the proceeds of our warranted, high end, much more expensive dishwasher that went crazy and never was fixed after five service calls. We love the Bosch because: 1. It works! 2. Our dishes and glasses come out sparkling. 3. Without a heating element, we do not have to worry about "top rack only" items. All three racks are top racks! 4. The door pops open when finished. It's much more sanitary and dry. No musty odors. 5. It is considered the most reliable brand by the major consumer product rating magazine. 6. Did I mention that it works?

Bosch: you keep bugging me for a review, so, fine - here it is. I'm highly disappointed in my SHP865ZP5N. It cleaned OK, but nothing special. Maybe I'd be more pleased if it hadn't died at 8 months. Maybe I'd be more pleased if customer support wasn't a nightmare to navigate. Maybe I'd be more pleased if, after finally making my way through the customer support nightmare, they'd have been able to schedule a repair/replacement sooner that 6+ weeks out. Maybe I'd be more pleased if Bosch had their own service providers who are at the ready and who fully understand their product, instead of outside providers who are unable to schedule a timely repair. I'm not pleased, and I don't expect I'll be recommending Bosch to anyone who asks.

I replaced by dishwasher and my new Bosch is quiet and the items come out dry. This is particularily important as I have wood flooring in my kitchen. I always seemed to have water shots near my dishwasher. No more! I open in the morning and all the dishes and cups are clean and dry. Also the red light to indicate the machine is operating is a plus.

Purchased this dishwasher to replace a 17 year old Bosch diswaher. There was never any doubt that the replacement would be another Bosch. Now that we've had it for more than a month, I feel qualified to comment. The washer is very quiet because the kitchen and our family room occupy the same large space. It cleans and dries dishes exceptionally well. The one issue we had, which is not a complaint is this dishwasher has so many rack options that it has taken us some time to figure out how we wanted to set everything up for our typical use. The upside of this is that if you have some unusual combination of odd sized pieces to wash, this machine will accomodate them. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase.

Really like this appliance. Does a great job cleaning, it's quiet. We removed one of the utensil holders in the bottom to make more room for dishes. The only complaint is that it's been very difficult to balance. We keep tightening the screw but it keeps tipping forward. Not bad but enough to be annoying. Otherwise very happy with it.

We purchased the Bosch 500 series diswasher after our 20+ year old Kenmore finally died. The new Bosch is very quiet and looks beautiful. It was easy to install. Only complaints (and they are slight) is that it is more difficult to load (the bottom rack has very strange placement of spine/holders) and we don't feel it cleans quite as well as our older machine. Still, we are happy with our purchase.

I love my dishwasher. It is quiet and dishes come out clean. Not very often do I have to hand wash something because it came out of the dishwaher dirty. I don't pre-rinse my dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. The only thing that is sometimes frusterating is how long it takes to clean the dishes and sometimes dishes are not dry at the end of the cleaning.

After my 2 year-old GE dishwasher went down in flames, I took my appliance person's recommendation to go with Bosch. I'm so pleased! It is quiet, cleans everything, and has very useful options. I love the adjustable racks, ease of loading. Big things, small things, odd shaped things, glass, ceramic, stainless. . . come out sparkling. It definitely needs the Jet Dry for spotless glasses. This is hands down the best dish washer I have ever owned. It is my first Bosch appliance and I am very impressed. It is super quiet, so quiet you don't even know it is running. Cleans dishes really well, it is easy to load and unload due to how the dish washer is set up making it easy to load the dishes in a really organized way. I love the third rack for silverware. And it does t use heat to dry the dishes yet they are always dry. I give it a 5 star rating because it deserves it!

Racks wont stay on

When sliding out the lower rack out, it continually comes off track. Today it happened again, and I grabbed the handle and a piece of plastic broke off. After fourth months, the dishwasher stopped working. I did three hard resets and then it started working again. Maybe I got a dud, but buyer beware.

Incredibly disappointed with this dishwasher. Not only the worst dishwasher I have ever owned (I'm almost 60), but possibly the worst appliance I have ever owned. Runs for hours, but leaves everything wet. I have tried every cycle. Leaves glasses dirty even using the drying aid. We wash glasses by hand now. It has stopped 3x mid cycle for no reason. Trouble shooting leads the machine seeing the door unlatched. After a month, the inside has a moldy smell...even after runs with sanitation option selected. It doesn't load efficiently, smaller deeper bowls just flop around. Installation is simply an engineered mess. Water and electrical connection at back (as opposed to others where its underneath towards the front). if you have a water leak, it could do serious damage to the floor before you notice it. The proprietary electrical junction box is a joke. It pushes electrical underneath the sink increasing chances that water may get to it. A safety error. Next year we do a remodel and this dishwasher gets junked. If Bosch had any ethics at all, they would give me a full refund and come take this piece of junk away. The machine performs so poorly is should be be taken off the market.

Installation requiring the Bosch junction box is ridiculous. It needlessly complicated my installation and put an electrical box into an area where there is a greater chance of water getting into it. The dishwasher leaves the inside wet, the automatic door opening upon cycle completeion should have given me a clue what the future held. The washer is doesn't accept my smaller deep bowls in an efficent manner that my previous washer did. Its quiet and that is the only plus. But that's not unique in the market. All in all, not impressed, rather competely disappointed... would never buy it again and regret buying it. I wonder if Bosch clothes dryers require an outdoors clothes line?

Great Cleaner - Need "Clean" Light

We finally got our Bosch Dishwasher after waiting 6 months and I love it! It is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had. I don't even know it is running. And it has so many different options for racks that I can't ever decide how to adjust them! The only thing I wish it had was a light to show that dishes are clean. Sometimes I run it and sometimes my husband does so we always have to ask "are these clean?". If it had an indicator light that would be helpful! My old one did and that was a nice feature. Otherwise I am very happy with it!

My new dishwasher has so many sweet features that it's hard to say which is the best. They all work in 3-part harmony to make loading and washing dishes a pleasure rather than a chore. Of course, I am refering to the 3 racks. The 3rd rack is just the handiest feature I can imagine. I also appreciate the energy-saving feature that allows the door to open when the cycle is finished so dishes can air dry. Thank you Bosch for making me a much happier chief cook and bottle washer (without the bottle washer, because my Bosch does that)!

Super quiet!

Finnally had to break down and replace my original Bosch dishwasher after 25 years of service. Sad to see it go, but I love the 3rd rack that has been added to this model. The new one is so quiet that if it did not have the light that shines on the floor I would not know it was running. The only thing I would like to have added was display lights on the control panel so I could see what step in cleaning it was in, or time to finish.

Overall, we are really enjoying our new dishwasher. We are dishwasher snobs and like ones that work very well and are willing to pay for the best! This dishwasher cleans very well and so far is meeting all of our needs. Only comment would be a bit more room needed; however, when you remove the utensil holder (since there's one up top) it opens up more space!
